Gelato Semplice

This will probably be one of the simplest recipe that I will put here. Don´t get me wrong I really love finding out how to do things the simple way.

I really like making my own ice cream and experimenting with different flavors, but my problem has been that using my ice cream machine takes both time and preparation. And believe me I have had that situation that I have been totally ready with my ice cream mixture only to find out that I forgot to put the machine container in the freezer. I will not pack my machine away and never use it again but I think it is great to be able to make something nice even when you have no time, and it does not hurt that it looks like you have spent hours and hours on it.

When I found this method of making ice cream I have to admit I as a little skeptical at first but was amazed at how great it turned out. You do not need any fancy tools, I used my Kitchen Aid but you can just as well use a hand mixer.

The basic recipe only requires 3 ingredients and then you can use whatever you can think of for flavoring.
